Position : Accountant
Age: 24
Hometown: Bago, Myanmar
Joined F&P in 2018

Why did you want to work for F&P?

After working in Japan for two years, wanted to continue working in a Japanese company after returning to Myanmar because Japanese companies typically have a good salary, strict rules and manners, and wanted to speak Japanese.

Best part about Working of F&P?

As a new employee with no experience, every was very helpful and friendly. Everyone helped and taught me a lot.

Culture and how is it different from other companies?(especially in Myanmar)

Real sense of team work. Everyone was so helpful and friendly.

Challenges you encountered working for F&P?

Japanese language. So not only having to focus on my accounting skills for my job but also trying to learn and improve my Japanese skills at the same time.

What does your daily routine look like?

Accounting is mainly same thing and repetitive. When she first came there was someone else, but then after was alone, so then she got busy, and learned a lot.

Do you think F&P is a very fair company? Treats you well/well compensated for your efforts?

Yes, we get raises for getting Certificates, like for example I get raised for accomplishing and obtaining Accounting(ACCI) and Japanese certifications.

How has F&P helped you grow professionally and individually?

I learned to become more of a team player. I also improved with time management and self discipline to follow deadlines and accounting practices. We got to go to Japan for training, and got to understand more the President`s vision, and image of what he wants to do.

Would you recommend F&P to a friend? And why?

Construction/heavy Engineering company so maybe recommend F&P to engineering friends. But typically Myanmar people are not so good with time management. So if there was someone I were to recommend, they have to be good with time management, strict on due dates and rules, and a plus if they have experience living in Japan and try to understand the culture and thinking of the Japanese.
