The sixth “Children’s Community Kitchen” event, sponsored by the Chiba Jets, was held.
The men’s professional basketball team “Chiba Jets”, which our company supports as a partner company, held a “Children’s Community Kitchen” at LaLa Terrace TOKYO-BAY, which is close to their home arena and our group company Smile Brothers Japan Co., Ltd. provides support for the program.
This is a program that provides free meals to single-parent families living in Funabashi City and to parents and children from elementary schools near the home arena.
The event will be held on one day per month from September 2024 to June 2025, with two sessions each. The sixth session was held on February 22, 2025(Sat).
There were 88 parents and children in total participating in the first and second sessions, and in addition to serving food, Chiba Jets games were also broadcast for everyone to enjoy.
The event was covered by J:COM Channel’s “Jimoto Topics” program and broadcast in the Chiba prefecture broadcast area.
