The third “Children’s Community Kitchen” event, sponsored by the Chiba Jets, was held.
The men’s professional basketball team “Chiba Jets”, which our company supports as a partner company, held a “Children’s Community Kitchen” at LaLa Terrace TOKYO-BAY, which is close to their home arena and our group company Smile Brothers Japan Co., Ltd. provides support for the program.
This is a program that provides free meals to single-parent families living in Funabashi City and to parents and children from elementary schools near the home arena.
The event will be held on one day per month from September 2024 to June 2025, with two sessions each. The third session was held on November 23, 2024(Saturday).
There were 83 parents and children in total who participated in the first and second sessions.
This time, as part of Funabashi City’s “Community Development Lecture Series”, a lecture was given by a nutritionist from the Community Health Division on the theme of “Eat Well and Stay Healthy! Funabashi’s Food Education”, and the participants listened to the lecture and enjoyed their meal.
