We received an award from Kori-cho, Date County, Fukushima Prefecture, for our contribution to agricultural development.
We were honored at the Kori Town commendation ceremony held on November 8th for our corporate version of the hometown tax donation to Kori Town in Date County, Fukushima Prefecture, which we made in June 2024.
This donation is made through the connection with our group company, the agricultural corporation Kamura Agua Co., Ltd., which is headquartered in Kori-cho.
As the group company is working to secure food supplies in line with national agricultural policy and to produce food as a company that contributes to national resilience, it sympathized with the “promotion of agriculture” measures in Kori Town’s “Project for Creating a Town Full of Energy and Liveliness” and made a corporate version of the hometown tax donation.
The town commendation ceremony held in Kori-cho is for individuals and groups that have made efforts for the development of the town in various fields such as education, welfare, disaster prevention, and agriculture, or have contributed through donations, and our company was commended for contributing to the town through donations to the “promotion of agriculture” policy.
We will continue to pray for the further development of Kori-cho, and will continue our efforts to create social value and improve business value.
