The opening ceremony of GLP Japan Inc.’s “GLP Tomei Atsugi” was held.
The opening ceremony of GLP Japan Inc.’s “GLP Tomei Atsugi”, which F&P provided basic design and detail design supervision service, was held on October 29, 2024.
This facility is located between the Atsugi Interchange on the Tomei Expressway and the Atsugi-Minami Interchange on the Shin-Tomei Expressway, with good access to both interchanges, which are approximately 900m and 500m away from each IC. It is also close to the Ken-O Expressway, making it a highly convenient location as a distribution base for the whole of the Kanto region.
In addition, the location is easy to commute to, being about 1.9 km from Aiko Ishida Station on the Odakyu Odawara Line, about 12 minutes by bus from Hon-Atsugi Station, and about 5 minutes on foot from Aitsubo bus stop, and is also advantageous for securing employment.
This facility is a four-story multi-tenant building with single ramps, and the first and second floors have low-floor berths (one floor has a floor loading capacity of 2.0t/m²), which can be used with 2.5t forklifts. In addition, the effective ceiling height on the second and fourth floors is between 6.5m and 6.9m, and the specifications have been designed to take into account storage efficiency and operational efficiency in line with the characteristics of the companies in the surrounding area.
After the start of construction, we will continue to supervise the work and do our utmost to ensure that the facility is of the highest quality and meets the client’s requirements, with completion scheduled for summer 2026.
