The first “Children’s Community Kitchen” event, sponsored by the Chiba Jets, was held.
The men’s professional basketball team “Chiba Jets”, which our company supports as a partner company, held a “Children’s Community Kitchen” at LaLa Terrace TOKYO-BAY, which is close to their home arena.
This is a program that provides free meals to single-parent families living in Funabashi City and to parents and children from elementary schools near the home arena, and our group company Smile Brothers Japan Co., Ltd. provides support for the program.
The program will be held on one day per month from September 2024 to June 2025, with two sessions on alternating days. The first session was held on September 23 (Monday/national holiday).
There were 84 parents and children in total who participated in the first and second sessions, and in addition to providing food, there was also a broadcast of the Chiba Jets game for everyone to enjoy.
We are planning to hold food education events in the future.
