The groundbreaking ceremony of AEON Next Co., Ltd.’s “DPL Kuki Miyashiro Ⅱ(AEON NEXT Kuki Miyashiro CFC)”, which F&P provided design supervision service, was held on August 28, 2024.
This facility is a project to construct a customer fulfillment center (CFC) for AEON NEXT, designed and constructed by Daiwa House Industry. It is the third CFC facility in Japan, following CFC1 (Chiba City), which is already in operation, and CFC2 (Hachioji City), which is currently under construction, and, when completed, it will be the largest facility with a shipping capacity nearly double that of CFC1 and CFC2.br> With the completion of this facility, AEON Next’s “Green Beans” service area is scheduled to expand further.
As project management, we were given the work of basic design and design supervision by AEON Next, and have been promoting the project in cooperation with Daiwa House Industry.
We were able to start construction safely with the cooperation of each company, using the experience we earned with CFC1 and CFC2, in response to the construction and equipment specifications of AEON NEXT.
We will continue to work hard to realize the operation launch as scheduled.
