F&P made a corporate donation to Koori-cho, Date-gun, Fukushima.
With the purpose of “creating a rich and secure future by building the infrastructure that supports people’s lives”, F&P is working to create social value while also improving business value. As part of this effort, we are using the “Furusato Nōzei” tax system to contribute to the SDGs and build partnerships with local governments, etc., in line with the Cabinet Office’s policy of “local revitalization”.
We recently made a corporate donation to the “Agriculture Promotion” policy of the “Town Development Project Filled with Energy and Liveliness” being promoted by Kori Town in Date-gun, Fukushima Prefecture, and a ceremony was held at Kori Town Hall on August 2 to mark the occasion. Kori-machi is the location of the headquarters of our group company, the agricultural corporation Kouson Agua Co., Ltd. The company is working to secure food in line with national agricultural policy and to produce food as a company that contributes to national resilience.
In the future, we will continue to expand our agricultural production activities in partnership with Kori Town, in line with the principles of the Basic Act on Food, Agriculture and Rural Areas, while aiming to 1) promote agriculture in Kori Town and maintain its scenic rural landscape, 2) contribute to the creation of a foundation for tourism businesses that make use of local companies, the Nishiyama Castle Ruins and local resources, and 3) contributing to the strengthening of the national land through the development of a wide-area disaster prevention cooperation base that utilizes water and agricultural products, we will continue to work towards sustainable town development.
