The ground-breaking ceremony of Daiwa House Industry Co., Ltd.’s “DPL Shinonome (tentative name)”, which we provide design supervision, was held on December 25, 2023.

This facility is a large-scale multi-tenant logistics facility under the “DPL” logistics facility brand of Daiwa House Industry.

We participated in the project from the early phase of basic design, and have been promoting the project by performing basic design, detail design, and supervision.

This site is located in Shinonome, Koto-ku, Tokyo, and is planned to construct a large logistics facility in a densely populated area as a base facility within a metropolitan area. The exterior wall panels were designed in a gradient color to reduce the sense of oppression to the neighborhood.
The west side of the building faces the Ariake Arena on the opposite side of the canal, so a lobby with a large opening on the top floor offers not only an enjoyable view to users of the facility, but also an expressive appearance. On the southeast corner of the site, a public green space that can be used in combination with the adjacent greenway park on the east side was created for use by residents of the neighboring community.
Although the site is narrow in terms of the area available for entrances and exits, we devised a layout plan and adopted a double ramp. By facilitating the movement of large vehicles within the facility, the plan aims for the large facility to coexist with the existing traffic in the neighborhood.　

We will strive to build a high-quality facility that meets the needs of our customers without any accidents or disasters within the construction period toward its completion in March 2026.
