The ground-breaking ceremony of NAGAI EXPRESS Co., Ltd.’s “Uki Logistics Center”, which we provide project management service, was held on January 22, 2024.
The site faces the Matsubase Bypass on National Route 3 and is located approximately 1.0 km from the Matsuhashi Interchange, which is roughly halfway along the Kyushu Motorway that runs north-south through Kyushu, making it an ideal location for access to a wide area of Kyushu. The building is a steel-framed, one-story building for private use with dry and frozen/refrigerated areas.
The project will begin basic planning in February 2023, and after a basic and implementation design supervision process, construction will start from February 2024.
We have supported the project by providing basic planning and design supervision for the selected general contractor’s design. An essential task of this project was to organize the requirements for the freezing and refrigeration facility at the early design stage and to accurately reflect them into the plan. In addition, it was necessary to take into consideration the relationship with the existing facilities on the site, so the facility was designed to function as a whole site.
We will be in charge of construction supervision and will provide total support for this project. We will continue to promote the project toward completion in November 2024, with the aim of creating even higher quality facilities that meet the needs of our clients.
