The groundbreaking ceremony of Cushman & Wakefield K.K.’s “LF Tsukuba Construction Project (tentative name)” , which F&P provides general contractors selection support and design supervision service, was held on March 24, 2022. We are also in charge of construction supervision.
The site is located about 7.8km from the Sakura-Tsuchiura IC on the Joban Expressway and about 8.0km from the Tsukub-Chuo IC on the Ken-O Expressway, making it possible to cover not only the northern Kanto and Tohoku regions, but also a wide area of the Tokyo metropolitan area without passing through central Tokyo using the Ken-O Expressway.
The facility is a single-ramp-way multi-tenant distribution warehouse with a five-story floor area of approximately 71,000 ㎡, aiming to acquire CASBEE A rank certification, BELS (Building-Housing Energy-efficiency Labeling System) 5 Star, and ZEB (Net Zero Energy Building) Ready certification. The exterior walls uses heat-insulating double-folded plates and sandwich panels with high insulation and durability, and solar power generation facility for a solar power company will be installed on the roof.
As a BCP measure, the facility is equipped with a 24-hour emergency power generator, which allows passenger elevators, electric shutters, toilets, etc. to operate for a certain period of time even during power outages, thus incorporating specifications that enable business to continue or be restored as soon as possible.
