The opening ceremony for Hitachi Transport System’s “Hitachi Finenext Transport System Otsu Logistics Center Construction” was held.
The opening ceremony of Hitachi Transport System‘s “Hitachi Finenext Transport System Otsu Logistics Center Construction”, which F&P conducted design and construction supervision, was held on January 14, 2022.
The facility is located near the Keiji Bypass and the Shinmeishin Expressway, which is currently under construction, and at a location that can cover the entire Kansai area. It is a logistics facility with two automatic rack warehouses for hazardous materials.
We have been involved with this project from introduction of the land, development work support, and design and construction supervision to support the total project coordination.
This project is planned to secure a site that will be able to accommodate future expansion after the first phase of construction. The automatic rack warehouse is a 24-series 11-stage rack warehouse equipped with six double-reach stacker cranes for two buildings and has carbon dioxide fire extinguishing equipments to store hazardous materials. At the construction stage, the facility is designed to be BCP compliant and easy to use, including conducting operational tests of automatic warehouses in case of emergency, and finally confirming the usability of forklifts for detailed settings.
F&P hope that this facility will contribute to the business development of the customer in response to the growing demand for hazardous materials storage in recent years.
