　The groundbreaking ceremony of Hakata Unyu Co., Ltd.’s “Hakata Unyu Kashiihama Logistics Facility (tentative name)”, which F&P provides project management, was held on February 16, 2021.

　　

　This facility is a BTS-type logistics warehouse located at Kashiihama Park Port in the eastern part of Hakata Bay.

　F&P implemented basic plan and design based on the feasibility study work, and supervised implementation design created by Umebayashi Corporation, a company selected as the design and construction company. In the future, we will conduct construction supervision work at the construction site and manage the project.

　In this project, in order to satisfy all of our customers’ unique operational specifications, F&P conducted detailed interviews, discussions, and studies from the basic planning stage to enhance the basic design content, and also promoted detailed supervision of the implementation design by Umebayashi Corporation.

　　

　The facility is located near the take-off and arrival routes of Fukuoka Airport, and takes a corner where one can see from Kashii Kamome Bridge. Therefore, the facility is designed to be highly commercial by providing a corporate color on its appearance, and by including logos and company names on its roof surface.

　　

　In terms of functionality, the truck berth on the first floor is divided into two sections: a low-floor and a high-floor. In addition to raising shipping efficiency by placing two elevators and two vertical conveyors for vertical movement, part of the truck berths on the second floor are equipped with a constant-temperature warehouse that ensures dew condensation prevention. Since the site is located in the storm surge inundation area, the installation height of cubicles and emergency generators is GL+3.5m, making the building BCP-proof.

　　

　In preparation for completion in mid-February 2022, F&P will continue to promote the project with the aim of building even higher quality facilities in line with customer needs, as well as playing a role in the advancement of our customers’ logistics business.
