The safety prayer ceremony of Sumitomo Corporation’s “SOSiLA Itabashi” was held.
The safety prayer ceremony of Sumitomo Corporation’s “SOSiLA Itabashi”, which F&P conducted project management service, was held on February 17.
The facility is Sumitomo Corporation’s first SOSiLA series of urban distribution facilities in the 23 Districts of Tokyo.
This site has a good access to the Metropolitan Expressway No.5 Ikebukuro Line and Kanpachi-dori, and it is the most suitable location for urban and frequent delivery. In addition, as the area is within walking distance of Nishidai Station and Hasune Station on the Toei-Mita Line, it creates major advantages for tenant companies in securing human resources.
In this project, F&P carried out the basic plan and design supervision as project management and promoted the project.
In the basic plan, F&P consulted with the police on safety assurance of the site, because of its limited number of entrances and exits, and devised measures such as installing a reduction of over 22 meters. As a result, F&P were able to obtain permission to install the entrances and exits after obtaining approval to the effect that there is no problem in terms of safety, although it is in the vicinity of the intersection.
In preparation for the completion by the end of February 2021, F&P will contribute to the establishment of a high-quality logistics facility that connects people and the public to the SOSiLA brand concept of Sumitomo Corporation.
