The construction of Mitsui & Co. Real Estate Ltd.’s Kumiyama Distribution Center “LOGIBASE Kumiyama” (tentative name) has started.
The groundbreaking ceremony of Mitsui & Co. Real Estate Ltd.’s Kumiyama Distribution Center “LOGIBASE Kumiyama” (tentative name), which F&P provides design and construction supervision service, was held on January 24.
This is the third construction project in the Kansai region that is to be undertaken by Mitsui & Co. Real Estate Ltd.
The planned site is located midway between the central part of Osaka and Kyoto area, and close to the Kumiyama Minami IC of Daini Keihan Road. It is a convenient location that can be accessible to a wide range of areas, from short-distance delivery to the central area to wide-area delivery of the Kinki region.
This is a three-story facility with a total floor area of 22,579.46㎡, allowing the first floor to be used with a double-sided berth for a number of truck loading.
F&P hope that the facility will play a part in the social infrastructures and contribute to the rationalization of logistics operations and business development of tenant companies.
