The groundbreaking ceremony of “Itsumiya Main Factory Expansion and Repair Work (tentative name)” for Itsumiya Co., Ltd., which F&P provides design and supervision, was held on June 3, 2018.

This project will consolidate a number of currently distributed factories into one location, acquire land in the National Industrial Park, the largest industrial park in Yamanashi Prefecture, and establish a new consolidated factory to increase production efficiency.

Itsumiya Co., Ltd. was founded in 1990 as a meat and deli store, and then developed into a manufacturer specializing in “side dish kits”, which supplies side dishes in the supermarket. The company supplies ingredients to 4,500 stores nationwide.

At the new factory, F&P worked closely to plan production flow lines, personnel flow lines, etc., and aimed at realizing a functional factory. In order to ensure the stable supply of “safe”, “secure”, and “delicious” products, which are also the mission of food factories, the facilities are designed to meet HACCP requirements, such as cleanliness categories and thermal categories, and to provide food security. Under Itsumiya’s corporate philosophy of “Enriching People Through SOUZAI,” it is planned to construct a daycare facility as a supportive facility for employees, and to use the facility in such a way as to create a sense of unity with the park in the neighborhood.

Shooting for the completion of this project by February 2019, F&P will make the most of the spirit of co-sourcing, which is also our corporate vision, and will contribute to the further development of Itsumiya Co., Ltd.
