　 The groundbreaking ceremony of “Maruai Logistics Center and new headquarter/store building construction (tentative name)” for Maruai Corporation, which F&P started designing from September 2016, was held on 9 May, 2018. 　

　Maruai Corporation was founded as a rocks and hardware store in 1953 and is now a comprehensive foods supermarket with 59 stores within Hyogo Prefecture. Their distribution was streamlined by the construction of Logistics Center as logistics delivery hub to all stores and with completion of the new headquarter and Kanno store adjacently constructed, it will function as a the command center for manpower/goods/money.

　F&P will manage the master planning/selecting constructors/ implementation design/construction supervision and will carry out the operation ensuring that the project is completed with zero accidents, without compromising the quality of the project.

　This construction project is aimed for Maruai’s future store expansion and F&P participated in the facility planning from development designing phase to consulted with Urban Planning Division about Kanno area plan of Kakogawa City. In the future, there will be development of the site surrounding area (hospital/school lunch center, etc.) so the layout and facility was planned to minimize the impact to the surroundings.

　F&P aims to contribute to the development of Maruai corporation, including the participation in store planning.
