 The groundbreaking ceremony of “Toyama IV Logistics Center Expansion” for Hitachi Transport System, Ltd. was held on March 20, 2018.

The facility will be built within the Toyama Center site. Due to the increasing amount of handling package load, the site already is under operation by Hitachi Transport System, Ltd. By installing the latest equipment, the facility will become a labor saving promotion center. It is also a warehouse with a temperature control function for pharmaceuticals.

 F&P is in charge of planning and master planning, general contractor selection support, and design and construction supervision.

 This project is an important project in which coordination between general contractors and material handling companies, using latest materials machinery, including automated warehousing equipment, a key for saving labor. In addition, F&P plan to construct a distribution center based on the GDP (Good Distribution Practice) standard for the proper distribution of pharmaceuticals.
