In Myanmar, F&P participates in activities that will deepen the friendship between Japan and Myanmar and contribute to the development of the both countries.
■Sponsoring the production of “My Country My Home“, a joint movie between Japan and Myanmar
The film is a heartwarming story with romance, family love, and mother-country love, wavering between Japan and Myanmar. Approximately 870 people attended premium exhibition held at the Yangon City THAMADA CINEMA on February 22, 2018. Participants posted on the Facebook, such as “I’m moved!” and “I didn’t know the current situation of the Myanmar people in Japan.” stating that the film has deepened their understanding of the both countries.
F&P, All Nippon Airways Co., Ltd., Daiwa House Industry Co., Ltd., and Mitsubishi Corporation participated as a sponsoring company from Japan.
The film is scheduled to be broadcast at the Osaka Asian Film Festival and NHKBS Premiums in March and we look forward to future releases.
■Sponsoring Japan Myanmar Pwe Taw 2018
On February 24, 2018, F&P participated in the Japan Myanmar Pwe Taw 2018, an event with the theme of “Japan and Myanmar, Dreaming Together” held in Yangon, Myanmar. As in the previous year, F&P exhibited a corporate booth and spent valuable time communicating with local residents who visited the event.
Over thirty Japanese companies, including F&P, participated in the exhibits, striving to appeal Japanese culture in the midst of the flaming sun.
