The completion ceremony of GLP Japan’s “GLP Okinawa Urasoe” was held.
The completion ceremony of GLP Japan’s “GLP Okinawa Urasoe”, which F&P provided the design and construction supervision services, was held on March 13, 2023.
It is the first logistics facility development in Okinawa for GLP Japan and one of the largest logistics facilities in Okinawa. The entire facility will be exclusive to Anshin Co.,Ltd., the largest logistics company in Okinawa.
Urasoe City, where this facility is located, is adjacent to Naha City, the logistics gateway to Okinawa Prefecture. It is at the center of attention as suitable location for logistics facilities following the opening of the Urasoe-kita Road and the Harbor Road Urasoe Line.
The facility is located 6.4 km from Naha Port, 12.5 km from Naha Airport, and 6km from the Nishihara Interchange on the Okinawa Expressway, so that it is an excellent location for wide-area distribution point throughout Okinawa Prefecture.
F&P provided design and construction supervision for the project.
