In 2014, we established a subsidiary in Singapore to provide technical services for the growth of Southeast Asia and the expansion of our customers. In the same year based on Myanmar’s external economic opening policies, national potential, and growth potential, we established a subsidiary in Myanmar (Yangon City), F&P Myanmar Co., Ltd. to provide services similar to those in Japan.
In 2018, we relocated our Asian headquarters from Singapore to Yangon, and made Myanmar a strategic hub for Southeast Asia. At the same time, we developed a refrigerated warehouse with suburban offices in Yangon City. Through the construction of a cold chain infrastructure that is critically lacking in the region, we aim to contribute to the economic and social development of the country.
We promote management from the viewpoint of SDGs, ESG and BCP based on a number of experiences in developing, designing, building, and managing logistics facilities.
In the wake of the Great East Japan Earthquake, the early restoration of our logistics network was the first priority, and we moved into the disaster-stricken area as soon as possible, providing our technical capabilities for the restoration of our customer logistics facilities.
In Myanmar, we are investing in the construction of infrastructure, including cold chains. In addition, we are promoting the development of a “reversible facility” in Sendai City and Tohoku University in Nagamachi, Sendai City, in cooperation with Tohoku University.
In the event of a disaster, we plan to operate a facility that provides emergency food and equipment for 72 hours of life while making it a temporary evacuation center for local residents.
We have experienced and knowledgeable personnel from general contractors, design firms, developers, and general real estate companies, enabling us to provide customized technology, services, and advice to meet the needs of our clients.
We provide a wide variety of services to meet the diverse needs of our clients in the life cycle of logistics and commercial facilities, including development, design, construction, facility management, facility maintenance, renewal, asset off-balancing, and more.
In addition, we are also in the process of compiling data on the technical knowledge we have accumulated to date, with the aim of further improving service quality and expanding our business domain through the use of this data.
